Meryl faz ponta na série ''A Saga dos EUA''

Nessa terça-feira o canal History Channel começou a passar uma série que conta a história dos Estados Unidos, e durante uma entrevista, a produtora disse que Meryl fez uma pequena participação na série.

''Pensamos em americanos que fossem representativos dos EUA e nos surpreendeu que muita gente quisesse dar seu tempo. Queríamos tornar a série atrativa para jovens. Não procuramos apenas historiadores, e sim, americanos. Pedimos para que Meryl Streep falasse sobre o que é ser uma mulher americana. Queríamos ter pessoas extraordinárias e articuladas''

Não se sabe ao certo em qual episodo ela irá aparecer, mas quando sair, postarei aqui.

Meryl Streep é a 3ª famosa mais caridosa do mundo

A revista americana People divulgou esses dias a lista com os famosos que mais contribuiram com trabalhos sociais, e a Meryl Streep ficou em terceiro lugar doando 4 milhões de dólares para trabalhos sociais. A primeira da lista é a apresentadora Oprah Winfrey que doou 40 milhões de dólares em 2009.

Essa lista foi elaborada pela organização The Giving Back Fund a partir de dados da impresa.

Meryl Streep Is Back!

Sim, depois de TANTA espera dos fãs, Meryl está gravando seu novo filme, A Dama De Ferro, que retrata a história da ex primeira-ministra britânica, Margaret Thatcher, que é conhecida como Dama de Ferro.

No filme Meryl vai ter o papel principar, irá interpretar Thatcher, e nesse filme, o fãs estão com grande perspectiva que de a Academia irá lhe dar seu tão merecido 3º Oscar.

Ao que tudo indica, Meryl foi para Londres essa semana, para começar as gravações, nenhuma imagem do filme foi divulgada ainda, e não tem previsão para a estréia, mas eu acredito que provavelmente será no final de 2011 ou no começo de 2012.

Quando começarem a sair as imagens oficiais do filme, estarei postando aqui para vocês verem.

Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts Together!

It's confirmed, Meryl will play Violet Weston in the movie of the great Broadway play ''August : Osage County!!

In the movie, Meryl will be a female drug addict, that is trying to be househoulder, because her husband drowned. And Julia Roberts will be her daughter, Barbara Fordham.
The movie will be directed by John Wells. They will start recording next summer!

Interviewing : ''At a press conference after winning the Libertadores, you mentionated the actress Meryl Streep. Do you think that you are a kind of Meryl as technicals?''

Celso Roth : ''No, I think that I'm a person who works as hard as she. She wons two times two times the Oscar, but was nominated 17, 18, or something like that. I don't think that she's the best actress, but she is one of the besters. She always play exceptional movies, that is the professional life. Even if you play great characters, great jobs,if you don't win, isn't a great result. when I talked about her, I just wanted to show the persistence.''

Ok Roth, Meryl was nominated 16 times to an Oscar okay? and don't matter how much she won, she always get a great result. <3 and we love her :)

Ya, Jeff Bridges isn't play Great Hope Springs with Meryl anymore....

James Gandolfini will play her husband in the movie now, and Mike Nichols will work with Meryl again, he's the director of the movie....

In the movie James and Meryl are a couple and they come to a terapy to help their marriage, the therapist will be Philip Seymour Hoffman, he worked with Meryl in Doubt.

There's no previsions for when the movie will debut, but we are waiting for tht!!!

The coach of the brazilian team soccer Internacional, Celso Roth, in his interview talks about Meryl Streep in a mistake.

When he was questioned about finally get a title, he talks about Meryl, but it was a mistake, look what he said :

Meryl Streep sang ABBA at Emily Blunt's Wedding.
In the wedding they was playing ABBA songs and Meryl offered to sing, with Joanna, Emily's mom, and Mary Clare, Jonh's mom, the song MAMMA MIA!
The cerimony happened 2 months ago, on George Clooney's house, and the inviteds also were to a cruise.

Meryl Streep has closed the contract to be Tina Fey's mom in Mommy & Me, the director of this comedy will be Stanly Tucci, he worked with Meryl in Julie&Julia and Devil Wears Prada, but this time he will be behind the cameras.
There's not a prevision of when the movie will debut, but there's rumors that the records will start in next summer.

New Meryl Movie

Meryl Streep is in talks to play the former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, in the movie ''The Iron Lady'', the movie will be direct by Phyllida Lloyd, that worked with Meryl on MAMMA MIA!

Jim Broadbent will be her husband in the movie.

Meryl Streep will star opposite Jeff Bridges in''Great movie Hope Springs, she signed the contract this week. They will play the lead couple.
The film is about a couple who have been together for thirty years and decides to go on a journey that could change the fate of their marriage.
The film was written by Vanessa Taylor and still has no director.
